DigiEye is VeriVide's newest non-contact digital colour measurement instrument, launched February 2025.
From July 2022 to February 2025 I lead VeriVide's project to replace the previous DigiEye 700 v7 with a ground-up redesign, focussing on LED technology and moving away from MDF construction.
DigiEye accurately images, measures and analyses the colour and appearance of a wide variety of different products. DigiEye has been used to great effect in textiles, food and many other applications and enables fast low-carbon communication of colour and appearance information throughout global supply chains.
Significant upgrades over previous models include a 67% larger imaging area and a 112% larger measurement area. Drawer load rating has increased by 55%, and the LED light source lasts 10x longer than before. The system also includes software-integrated lighting controls and lighting geometry checking, enhancing its precision and ease of use.
